Throughout my internship, I have heard from many different people about the importance of mentorship and how a good mentor has shaped their career or other aspects of their lives. One thing that I found particularly interesting was the idea of cultivating your own personal “board of directors” as a source of mentorship. Having multiple people that can give advice with different points of view or topics of expertise is extremely valuable and something that I hope to develop over the course of my career.

My manager at Salesforce is someone who I hope will remain one of my mentors after I leave my internship. He has been an extremely valuable resource not only in advising me on my immediate goals, such as completing my internship project, but also in my future career goals.

I have also met many people at Salesforce whose opinion I value very highly. As I progress, I hope to develop these relationships further and gain more potential mentors.
